Great news for 2004 is the expansion of Chicks R Us to produce our own eggs from the same hatchery that has provided our eggs from the start.
We liked our chicken farmer so much we bought his business! Since Chicks R Us started we have purchased our eggs from Richard of Barter & Sons. Richard is renowned for breeding top quality laying birds, he’s been in business for 33 years and is an industry expert who has always been very supportive of Chicks R Us and given lots of advice.
You can imagine our surprise when he decided to retire!
Well, we are now the proud owners of the hatchery business and are delighted to be looking after out chicks from day one!
We aim to carry on Richard’s proud tradition and will provide one day old chicks up to 21 week old chicks direct to the public from our farm.
